MICHAEL GOODWIN HOLMES

Where’d you go to school for marketing?

I didn’t. And that’s a good thing. However, I did graduate from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture: Production & Management to help lay the foundation for my landscaping business. As a fellow business owner, I think in more real-life terms than traditional marketers. For about the past decade, I have managed Holmes & Gardens Landscaping & Mowing, Inc. From getting my hands dirty in the garden to accounting to fixing broken mowers to filing taxes, I deal in the realities of business owners across the nation. 

While I continue to operate the landscape business, I have also dedicated more time to mastering the skills of web design, advanced photo editing, short-form video creation, and social media content. Doing so has allowed me to help other small businesses grow and effectively use their financial resources in gaining qualified potential customers.
